The Falls Identified ……..

  The Deil’s Cauldron, Comrie, Perthshire.

The nearby restaurant, The Deil’s Cauldron (deserves to be 4 stars), had stopped serving by time we arrived at  2:30pm on a Sunday afternoon (kitchen closes 2 pm). The Falls can be accessed from the car park adjacent to the restaurant but half a mile of muddy uphill path has to be undertaken and proper footware is a must. Best to drive up nearby road to a small car park (maybe a mile) then walk down wooden staircase to the falls.

The boiling cauldron - and it was boiling on this very wet rainy day. Unfortunately the cauldron is at its most impressive during wet weather!!

The noise was deafening!!
