The photograph shows some of the dancers, supporters and organisers of the Friends of Netherlee Scottish Country Dance Club’s Annual Charity Dance held in the Netherlee Pavilion, Netherlee on Wednesday 13th August 2014.

A total of £840 was raised to be donated on a 50:50 basis to two hospices - one in Paisley and one in East Kilbride.

It was a warm summer evening and the ice-cream & jelly with a cup of tea/coffee available, all went down a treat!

There were many compliments about the superb music for a straight-forward but testing programme.

The raffle alone produced a record £193.
